hours when a staff member is present and fill your own container

Never Taste." Keep yourself going on the job by putting
aside the energy-depleting, sugar-abundant sodas, sweet
teas, and yes, energy drinks.
Dehydration
affects brain function and response time. The nature of
the tasks performed by those filling these roles require
the utmost in cognitive response. We're doing our part to
fuel those that protect us daily.
Staying hydrated on
the job:
- Reduces or eliminates your
chance of headaches (especially on HOT days!)
- Helps brain
power and concentration
- Shortens your response time
- Fights fatigue / maintains endurance on long shifts
Terms as follows:
- Must be: in uniform, in a marked department-issued
vehicle or in an unmarked department-issued vehicle with
badge
- Must bring own container for self-service
fill-up. Bring a gallon jug, a 2 liter bottle, etc. You bring it, we'll clean it and fill it with fresh,
pure, consumable drinking water!
- Water Store
staff member must be present (often we will be delivering
water to customers, in which
case the door will be locked and a note will be placed
containing contact information until we return)
