Disaster
Preparedness Plan For Customers Of The Water
Store
Tallahassee,
FL - Consider it another form of insurance for your household.
The need to have pure, consumable water
for yourself and your household is always vital, especially
duing challenging times. When a Hurricane, Tropical Storm,
or other crisis is eminent, The Water
Store will provide priority self-service access to its purified
water supply for its residential
customers. They will have first-come, first-served
access to fill their own containers at a reduced rate
during this type of event.
In the event
of an approaching Hurricane or Tropical Storm, our water
supply will be kept at full capacity, and we will move to
emergency operations mode 72 hours before expected landfall.
Extension of store hours and addition of days of operation
will be decided by store management and will be based on
staff available.
As Hurricanes
and Tropical Storms are the most prevalent type of major
weather-event in our area, we will initially plan our crisis
operations around the fact that we willl have at least some
warning as to when and where this type of storm might touch
land. Our operations and store hours during other emergency
events will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

- Water
storage jugs / containers already in inventory will

- This pricing
/ fill-up scenario will be enacted 72 hours before expected
landfall of a Hurricane or Tropical storm and will revert
